These Attorney Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of attorney-focused services provided by Authority Systems LLC (formerly Legal Buddy LLC) ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), including the Legal Buddy App attorney marketing program.

By accessing this website, scheduling a call, opting in to receive text messages, or engaging with our attorney marketing services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Platform Role & Disclaimer

Authority Systems LLC (formerly Legal Buddy LLC):

  • Is not a law firm
  • Does not provide legal advice
  • Does not form attorney-client relationships
  • Acts solely as a marketing and technology provider

All legal services are provided exclusively by independently licensed attorneys.

2. No Guarantees or Promises

  • We do not guarantee leads, cases, clients, revenue, or outcomes.
  • Advertising performance varies by market, practice area, responsiveness, and external factors.
  • All metrics, examples, or engagement data are informational only.

3. Attorney Responsibilities

By using our Services, you agree that:

  • You are properly licensed and in good standing
  • Your advertisements comply with all applicable state bar rules
  • You are responsible for content accuracy and compliance
  • You conduct your own due diligence on marketing suitability

4. Exclusivity & Availability

  • Exclusivity is offered on a region and practice-area basis
  • Availability is not guaranteed and may change
  • Exclusivity does not guarantee client acquisition

5. Payments & Terms

  • Attorney marketing services are offered on a subscription basis
  • Minimum commitment terms may apply (including 12-month minimums)
  • All payment terms are governed by separate written agreements executed after onboarding

6. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Program Name & Description

Legal Buddy Attorney Program Messages are sent by Authority Systems LLC (formerly Legal Buddy LLC). When you opt in by checking the SMS consent box on a form on www.legalbuddysales.com, you agree to receive text messages about the Legal Buddy App attorney program. Messages may include call and appointment confirmations and reminders, account and service notifications, territory availability updates, customer support replies, and, if you separately agree, promotional messages about our attorney marketing services.

Consent

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may opt in to service messages, promotional messages, or both. Messages may be sent using automated technology.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Check with your mobile carrier for details on your plan.

How to Opt Out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to the phone number that messaged you. After you send "STOP," we will send you one final message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. You may also opt out by replying END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, or STOPALL, or by telling us you no longer want messages through any other reasonable means, including by email or phone. To rejoin, text START or sign up again on our website.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, software, and materials are the property of Authority Systems LLC (formerly Legal Buddy LLC) and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed amounts paid to us in the prior six (6) months

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in St. Louis County, Missouri, except where prohibited by law.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of our Services, including continuing to receive text messages, constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
